Little Angels
When God calls little children to
dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question the
wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares with the
death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our
world seem so wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the
aged to his fold.
So He picks a rose bud before
It can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few,
To make the land of heaven more
beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be "Goodbye".
So when a little child departs
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
angels are hard to find.
Please join me in prayer for the Zeka family of Broken Arrow, OK. They said goodbye to their 4 year old angel around 11:00pm last night as her battle with cancer came to an end. She now rests comfortably in the arms of Jesus.
It certainly doesn't seem fair or right that people should have to endure that kind of pain!! Let alone a child barely big enough to grasp the concept of what is ravishing their tiny bodies. God bless them all! I hope you will be able to help comfort their souls--keep doing what you do Stacy!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see until this morning that Sicily had died. I can't help but cry and cry for her parents and big brothers and sister. She has battled this disease like a brave little solider. I didn't meet her but felt like I knew her. I do know her grandparents and aunts/uncles and cousins. They are a wonderful family with an amazing faith. My heart truely breaks for them! Thanks for keeping them in your prayers!
